Welcome to La Petite Belgique. These Terms of Service apply to your use of our website and purchases made through our online store.

By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Please read them before completing your purchase.

1. About our bakery

La Petite Belgique is a family bakery based in Moreton Bay, Queensland, Australia. We make Belgian-inspired baked goods and offer online ordering with local delivery on Sundays.

We operate as a small bakery, preparing products in planned quantities for our weekly delivery service.

2. Products and availability

We aim to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, prices and ingredient information on our website are accurate and up to date.

As our products are freshly baked, minor variations in appearance, size, colour or finish may occur.

Products are subject to availability. If we cannot fulfil an order as placed, we will contact you to discuss an appropriate solution.

3. Orders and minimum spend

All orders must be placed through our online store.

A minimum order value of $40 applies, excluding any discounts unless otherwise stated at checkout. Orders below this amount cannot be completed.

Orders for our Sunday delivery service must be submitted by 10:00 am on Friday for that Sunday's delivery.

Please check your order, delivery address, contact details and selected products carefully before completing checkout.

An order is subject to successful payment and our confirmation of the order. If there is an issue with payment, product availability, delivery eligibility or order details, we may contact you to resolve it.

If we cannot accept or fulfil an order, we will arrange an appropriate refund where payment has already been taken.

4. Prices and payment

All prices are displayed in Australian dollars (AUD) and include applicable taxes where required.

Delivery is currently free to eligible delivery areas.

Payment must be completed through an available payment method at checkout. Orders are subject to successful payment authorisation.

We aim to keep prices and product information accurate. If a material error affects an order, we will contact you to discuss an appropriate resolution.

5. Delivery

We currently offer Sunday delivery to eligible suburbs in our Moreton Bay service area.

Our delivery arrangements, eligible suburbs, ordering deadlines and delivery window are explained in our Shipping Policy.

Customers are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address and clear delivery instructions.

We make reasonable efforts to deliver within the stated window. Unexpected circumstances may occasionally cause delays.

6. Cancellations and order changes

Because our products are prepared according to weekly order quantities, please contact us as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel an order.

We will consider requests received before the Friday 10:00 am order cut-off. Changes or cancellations requested after that time may not be possible because preparation and production may already be underway.

Nothing in this section limits any rights or remedies you may have under Australian Consumer Law.

7. Ingredients and allergens

We provide allergen information for our products to help customers make informed choices.

Please read the information supplied with each product and contact us before ordering if you have questions about ingredients or allergens.

Our products are prepared in a bakery kitchen where different ingredients may be handled. Depending on the product and preparation environment, there may be a risk of cross-contact with other ingredients.

Customers with food allergies or intolerances should carefully consider the information provided and contact us if they require clarification before ordering.

We take food safety and accurate product information seriously. Nothing in these terms excludes any obligations imposed by applicable food laws or Australian Consumer Law.

8. Refunds and consumer rights

Our Return & Refund Policy explains how to contact us if there is a problem with an order.

Our products come with consumer guarantees under Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

Nothing in these Terms of Service or our other policies excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Website use and intellectual property

The content on this website, including our branding, photographs, written content, designs and logos, belongs to La Petite Belgique or is used with permission, unless otherwise stated.

You must not reproduce or use our content for commercial purposes without our prior permission, except where permitted by law.

You agree not to misuse our website, attempt to interfere with its operation or use it for unlawful purposes.

10. Website information and availability

We make reasonable efforts to keep our website, product information and ordering services accurate and available. Occasionally, errors, interruptions or outdated information may occur.

We may update product listings, prices and website content from time to time.

If an error affects your order, we will take reasonable steps to contact you and resolve the issue appropriately.

Nothing in these terms limits liability or remedies where doing so would be unlawful.

11. Complaints and resolving issues

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law remain unaffected.

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in Queensland, Australia, and are subject to applicable Australian laws.
